Hiroyoshi Okazaki, 9th Dan

Chairman and Chief Instructor

Hiroyoshi Okazaki was born in Chiba, Japan. He began his martial arts training at the Japan Karate Association headquarters in Tokyo and later moved to the United States to continue training at ISKF Headquarters.

He was appointed Chairman and Chief Instructor of the ISKF and continues to teach, travel, and conduct seminars worldwide.

Dr. Martin Vaughan, 7th Dan

President

Dr. Vaughan is Chief Instructor of the ISKF Mid-America Region and has been training since 1972. He is a certified instructor, examiner, and judge, and has contributed extensively to collegiate karate.

Tony Tam, 8th Dan

Vice President

Sensei Tam began training in 1973 and serves as Chief Instructor of the Atlantic Canadian Region. He is also a corporate lawyer and advisor within ISKF Canada.

Daniel Batt, 6th Dan

Treasurer

Appointed Treasurer in 2018, Daniel Batt supports the organization’s financial operations.

Lois Luzi, 7th Dan

Executive Administrator

Lois Luzi has been with the ISKF since 1978 and has served in leadership and administrative roles for decades.
